Ansar Allah movement claimed Yemen’s Air Defense Forces hit a Saudi-led coalition F-16 fighter jet that had been conducting an air raid over country’s capital of Sana’a.
While further details are yet to be provided, a military source told that Air Defense division utilized a surface-to-air missile that had successfully hit the target. Some sources have already announced that the warplane was shot down.
In a similar incident that took place on May 21, Yemeni Air Defense targeted a Saudi F-15 fighter jet. Meanwhile, Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV channel has published a video footage of Air Defense forces targeting the warplane.
