Local sources in Shabwa province revealed on secret negotiations conducted by the UAE with the elite forces of Shabwaniyah tribes of the province. After the tribes refused to hand over the bodies of the UAE crew that crashed on Friday. The sources said in an exclusive interview with “Al-Sabah al-Yemeni” that Shabwa tribes demanded to handover the citizens who were arrested by the UAE forces during raids carried out in cooperation with US forces last week in pretext that they belong to al-Qaeda.
Local sources reported that the UAE military aircraft bombed sites in the Directorate of Rawda province, specifically in the area where the helicopter crashed to force the tribes to hand over the bodies of its crew. Al-Awaliq tribes the most famous tribes in the province were issued a statement warning UAE and US troops to storm their villages and homes after reports told that that joint US-UAE forces stormed a house and arrested citizens, including women and children, in clear violation of the sanctity of the Yemeni tribe, which does not accept violations of privacy and arrest of women.
