More than 23 prisoners escaped from a prison in Yemen’s southern city of Aden. Sources said one person was killed and four police conscripts were wounded in the violence. According to the sources, a person named Badawi led a large group of gunmen and stormed the prison center, and released the prisoners who were to be transferred to the criminal investigation. The 23 prisoners who escaped were being held on criminal charges.
