Emirati Prince Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed was among the four UAE military personnel that were wounded in southern Yemen following a helicopter crash inside the Shabwah Governorate on Saturday, the Gulf News Agency reported.
The prince was conducting an air mission with his team, Saturday, when his Apache helicopter experienced technical issues, resulting in its subsequent crash.
“Our prayers this morning are to God to protect and heal Shaikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed and his comrades, the sons of this nation, the present and the future,” Dr. Anwar Bin Mohammad Gargash, the UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs tweeted on Sunday. The prince is currently seeking medical treatment in Germany to speed up his recovery.
