Angry protesters cut off the road near Al- Badr camp in Aden city, to protest on the power outage where protesters set fire on tires in the road, chanting anti-government slogans. The activists also circulated videos of night demonstrations that were took place in front of the Palace of Al-Ma’asheq where the Prime Minister Ahmed bin Dagher, is there, and chanted slogans against the legitimacy that failed to provide electricity services to citizens.
This comes at a time when activists called on social networking sites, to a mass rally in the middle of Ramadan, in order to demand the departure of Ben Dajr government from Aden, because of its failure to address the electricity crisis. Aden city is experiencing long interruptions of electricity sometimes exceed to 18 hours, with an unprecedented rise in temperature this summer.
