Two US military planes landed on the island of Hanish al-Kubra, about 40 kilometers from the city of Al-Mukha, carrying various equipment, including those for eavesdropping and intelligence monitoring. The islands of Zeker and Hanish are among the most important islands with a strategic location in the Red Sea, in its supervision of international shipping lines and its proximity to the main strait of Bab al-Mandab, as well as enjoying with diverse terrain and multiple marine resources.
