In his first political appearance since his resignation as Vice-president, former Prime Minister Khalid Bahah, met in Mukalla on Saturday members of the Southern Transition Council, calling for the preservation of the council and adherence to its leadership.
Sources told «Al-Arabi», that Bahah, during his meeting with the members of council presidency, brigadier Ahmed Ba ma’alem, Ali Abdullah al-kathery, and Akeal Mohamed Alatas, confirmed on the necessity to preserve the council and praising in the meantime on the historic Aden announcement.
Bahah arrived in Mukalla last week and hinted at a publication on his social networking site Facebook that the International Airport of Rayan would be reopened soon and a political settlement could be concluded to end the third year of Yemen crisis.
