AMN Al-Masdar news,
According to a Yemeni military source, Houthi Popular Committees, Republican Guards and Missile Forces have killed 384 soldiers loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the month of April alone. The death toll includes Sudanese mercenaries, Arab coalition soldiers and Yemeni troops fighting on behalf of Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi.
In addition, 1029 Saudi-backed troops suffered injuries and wounds, roughly half of which were defined as critical. Meanwhile, 10 troops were taken captive by Houthi forces while the latter destroyed a total of 27 armored vehicles. The source did not specify the casualties sustained by forces loyal the Sanaa-based government which first overran the Yemeni capital in September, 2014. While Houthi hit and run attacks continue to plague three southern provinces of Saudi Arabia, clashes in Yemen are especially intense in Taiz, Marib, and Bayda at the moment.
